140 meters long legendary suspension bridge

Stubnerkogel | Bad Gastein

Singnix tree house

Galsterberg

Start World Cup course

Zauchensee

The 140 m long suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel is accessible all year round and is located not far from the Stubnerkogelbahn mountain station in Bad Gastein. The bridge takes summit strikers 2,300 m above sea level from the terrace of the mountain restaurant to the transmitter station. It guarantees not only thrills, but also magnificent views of snow-covered mountains. With the photo point right next to the suspension bridge, particularly beautiful moments can be captured and downloaded with the ski pass number at www.skiline.cc.

You can reach the Singnix tree house in the Gallic ski village on Galsterberg via a small suspension bridge. Singnix is a villager who thinks he is a musical genius - but the rest of the village sees it differently and ties him to a tree at the slightest attempt at a vocal performance. With the Singnix tree house he got his own tree house from which he can look down.

As you know, you have a fantastic view of the mountains of Schladming-Dachstein everywhere on the Planai – even from the toilet. At the Sky Toilets at the Märchenwiesenbahn you can enjoy a great view – depending on the season – over lush green mountain meadows or perfectly groomed ski slopes.

With the elevator "World Cup Express", which is located directly next to the top station of the Schwarzwandbahn, you go up to the Gamskogel. Here is not only the start of the spectacular World Cup slope, but also a fabulously beautiful vantage point. The highest excursion point in the "Salzburger Sportwelt", which can be reached by lift, is thanks to the World Cup final in 2002, when the downhill course was extended to include the steep starting slope on the Gamskogel. The World Cup Express is usually open in fair weather during the main season (except during race preparation and World Cup races).

Flachau | Snow Space Salzburg

With the new Panorama Link in the Heart of Ski amadé, you can enjoy the diverse offer of the three ski areas including 210 varied kilometers of slopes with a single lift ticket on just one ski day. While skiing between the villages of Wagrain and Kleinarl, you can enjoy an unmistakable mountain panorama of the Hohe and Niedere Tauern.

Anyone who has reached the summit of the Stubnerkogel should definitely not miss the viewpoint. Because from here you have a magnificent view of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and the Großglockner (3798 m), one of Austria's landmarks, even in winter.

The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is an insider tip for skiers and toboggan fans in Ski amadé. On the small but very fine ski mountain, all 4 main lifts come together on the "Kemahdhöhe", the central point of the ski area.

Up here, in addition to the start of the 6km long Königslehen toboggan run and the popular photo motif mascot "Kinigl", there is also a sacred place with the Holy Family made of "Sölker marble" and a summit cross made of old lift parts. This place invites you to linger and relax with a magnificent view.

Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhova, Marlies Raich, Frida Hansdotter, Veronika VelezZuzulová, Maria Höfl-Riesch. These are the names of the skiers who skied to victory on the Hermann Maier FIS World Cup course and were thus crowned Snow Space Salzburg Princesses.

Would you like to follow in the tracks of these and other famous and great ski stars? Do you want to ski down the same course and experience the same feeling? Then you've come to the right slope at the Hermann Maier FIS World Cup course in Flachau.

In 2003, the slope was renamed the "Hermann Maier FIS World Cup Course". And for good reason, after all, the multiple ski world champion and Olympic champion is a true Flachau native. In the middle of the skiing area Snow Space Salzburg, part of Austria's greatest skiing Ski amadé, tangible racing fever awaits you on a course length of more than 600 metres.

In 2021 and 2022, the men's World Cup squad also visited Snow Space Salzburg. Atle Lie McGrath (2022) and Manuel Feller (2021) can also count themselves among the winners on the Hermann Maier World Cup course since then.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1... go... Experience the feeling of standing at the starting gate. The Hermann Maier World Cup starting gate is a must-visit and is a photo point on your way through Snow Space Salzburg.
