One of the longest downhill runs in the Eastern Alps - a real challenge for the winter sports enthusiast.
This year, Bad Hofgastein will once again host the spectacular race on the north downhill run of the Schlossalm. The route from the Hohe Scharte to the valley station of the Schlossalm lift is considered one of the longest downhill runs in the Eastern Alps. 1440 meters of altitude have to be covered in the "wild race" in Super-G style. It takes enormous strength and endurance in the thighs to be cheered by the fans at the finish line at Weitmoserin after about 6 minutes.
