The Schladming Tauern Cable Car (pendulum lift) was the first cable car in the Schladming-Dachstein region, originally opening in 1947. The current Tauern Cable Car has a capacity of 80 people per hour. It takes you directly from the valley to an altitude of 1,825 meters. The new 8-seater ‘Kaiblinggrat’ chairlift, which replaces the previous 4-seater ‘Quattralpina’ chairlift from 1992, has a transport capacity of 3,600 passengers per hour and takes you comfortably up to the transmitter plateau at 1,870 metres in just 4.5 minutes.
